Comedian Dave Chappelle said he understands why President Donald Trump 'gets mad' at CNN after a live interview where the network asked if Trump was willing to compromise on American pride. During the interview, CNN counted down to America's arrival in Afghanistan, prompting Trump's criticism of the network. Chappelle acknowledged that Trump may be upset by CNN's questioning of his stance on American exceptionalism. The comedian believes that Trump's response suggests he values national pride above all else.
