Hochul, AOC, and Mayor Slam 'We Support Hamas' Chants at Queens Protest as Antisemitic

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortrez, and Democratic socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani have condemned 'we support Hamas' chants at a protest in Queens, calling the chants 'disgusting and antisemitic'. The chants were directed at Israeli soldiers during a pro-Palestinian rally. Hochul, AOC, and Mayor Mamdani expressed strong opposition to such chants, emphasizing that they are unacceptable and have no place at public gatherings. The incident highlights ongoing tensions between pro-Israel and pro-Palestine groups in the US.
