Colorado Republican gubernatorial nominee and Marine veteran Victor Marx is assembling an all-Marine ticket to counter what he perceives as a growing socialist movement in the state, labeling it a threat that requires 'steely spines' to combat. Marx's strategy aims to capitalize on concerns about Democratic socialism by emphasizing the Marines' reputation for discipline and toughness. His team plans to highlight his military experience in their campaign efforts. The move reflects a broader national trend of Republicans seeking to tap into anti-socialist sentiment.
